Post-Wise Vacancy & Eligibility Details
1. Hospitality Monitors (22 Posts):
- Contract Tenure: Initially 2 years, extendable up to 1 more year based on performance and organizational requirements.
- Vacancies: 22 Posts (includes 4 OBC backlog vacancies). A reserve panel of 22 candidates will also be formed.
- Monthly Remuneration: Total CTC of ₹30,000/- per month (inclusive of statutory deductions) plus onboard daily allowance, lodging charges, and medical insurance.
- Educational Qualification:
- Full-time B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from a recognized CIHM/SIHM/PIHM affiliated with NCHMCT/UGC/AICTE; OR
- BBA / MBA in Culinary Arts from Indian Culinary Institutes under the Ministry of Tourism; OR
- B.Sc. in Hotel Management and Catering Science from a recognized University; OR
- MBA in Tourism and Hotel Management from a recognized University.
- Experience Required: Freshers (no experience) are eligible up to 28 years; 1 year experience for ages 28–30; 2 years experience for ages 30–35.
- Upper Age Limit (as on 01/09/2026): 35 years for Unreserved category.
2. Tourism Monitors (06 Posts):
- Contract Tenure: 3 years fixed-term contract.
- Vacancies: 06 Posts (Reservation applicable as per Govt. guidelines). A reserve panel of 06 candidates will also be maintained.
- Monthly Remuneration:
- ₹30,000/- per month: For 3-Year Bachelor's Degree in Tourism (with min. 1 year experience) OR Bachelor’s Degree in any stream + 1-Year Diploma in Travel & Tourism (with min. 1 year experience).
- ₹35,000/- per month: For 3-Year Bachelor’s Degree in any stream + 2-Year Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Travel & Tourism (with min. 2 years experience).
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 to 2 years of proven working experience in tour operations or recognized travel agency firms.
- Upper Age Limit (as on 01/09/2026): 35 years for Unreserved category.
Age Relaxations (Common for Both Posts):
- SC / ST Candidates: Relaxable by 5 years (up to 40 years).
- OBC (NCL) Candidates: Relaxable by 3 years (up to 38 years).
- PwBD Candidates: Relaxable by 10 years (up to 45 years).
- Ex-Servicemen: Up to the extent of service rendered in defence forces plus 3 years.
Additional Allowances & Benefits:
- Daily Allowance (On-duty onboard trains): ₹350/- per day (100% for over 12 hours, 70% for 6 to 12 hours, and 30% for under 6 hours).
- Lodging Charges: ₹240/- per night for outstation night halts.
- National Holiday Allowance (NHA): ₹384/- per national holiday worked.
- Medical Insurance Reimbursement: Monthly coverage as per age norms.
- Security Deposit: Selected candidates must submit a refundable Security Deposit of ₹25,000/- via Demand Draft upon selection (minimum service period: 1 year).
