  • Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Pay Level-2 (₹19,900 – ₹63,200)
  • Data Entry Operator (DEO): Pay Level-4 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100) and Level-5 (₹29,200 – ₹92,300)
  • Data Entry Operator, Grade 'A': Pay Level-4 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100)

Educational Qualification (as on 07/10/2026):

  • For DEO/DEO Grade 'A' (Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Ministry of Culture, and SSC): Passed 12th Standard in Science Stream with Mathematics as a compulsory subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.
  • For LDC/JSA and DEO/DEO Grade 'A' (All Other Departments): Passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
  • Appearing Candidates: Candidates appearing in their 12th standard examination may also apply provisionally, provided they acquire the essential qualification on or before 07/10/2026.

Age Limits & Relaxations (as on 01/08/2026):

  • Prescribed Age Group: 18 to 27 years (Candidates must have been born between 02/08/1999 and 01/08/2008).
  • SC/ST Candidates: Upper age relaxation of 5 years (up to 32 years).
  • OBC Candidates: Upper age relaxation of 3 years (up to 30 years).
  • PwBD Candidates: 10 years (General), 13 years (OBC), and 15 years (SC/ST).
  • Ex-Servicemen (ESM): 3 years after deduction of military service from the actual age.
  • Central Government Civilian Employees: Up to 40 years of age (45 years for SC/ST) with 3 years regular service.

  • Fee Payable: ₹100/- (Rupees One Hundred only)
  • Fee Exemption: Women candidates, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are completely exempted from payment.

Scheme of Examination:

  • Tier-I (Computer Based Examination): 100 Objective Type questions carrying 200 marks (English Language, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness). Duration: 60 minutes with a 15-minute sectional timer for each section. Negative marking: 0.50 marks per wrong answer.
  • Tier-II (Computer Based Examination):
    • Session-I (2 hours 15 mins): Mathematical Abilities, Reasoning & General Intelligence, English Language & Comprehension, General Awareness, and Computer Knowledge Module.
    • Session-II: Skill Test / Typing Test (15,000 KDPH for specialized DEOs, 8,000 KDPH for other DEOs; 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi for LDC/JSA).
