Deputation (Short-Term Contract):
Eligible officers from Central/State Govt/UTs who:
- Hold similar post on regular basis OR have 5 years’ service in Level-6 (or equivalent).
- Have M.Sc. in Agriculture or Horticulture from recognized institute.
- Have 2 years’ experience in Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant Protection, Spices, Coconut development, or related research.
Age Limit: Maximum 56 years as on the last date of application.
Pay: During deputation, the candidate can choose either:
- Salary as per deputation post rules OR
- Current basic pay from parent department + deputation allowance, as per Govt rules.
